Momming is HARD on our bodies... (can I get an amen!?)
.
From stretching skin and aching muscles/joints/everthing ... to changing hair, skin, nails, and all the other things...🤰
.
Not to mention nursing, carrying babies on our hips, laying in weird positions just to get them to sleep a bit longer 🤦🤦🤦
.
Anything that can help ease a bit of the crazy is totally my jam!
.
Some of my favorites...
.
Baby wearing! Oh my goodness, my Boba + Ergo carrier Saved. My. Life.
.
All the baby things... swings, rock and plays, bouncers (what was your babies must have??)
.
Netflix. I'm serious y'all. The first 3 months of C's life I sat on my bed and watched Gilmore Girls. No shame here.
.
Chiropractic! I can't sing the Praises of my chiropractor enough! 🙌🙌🙌 From helping my son's flat head and colic to my aching back, hips, and neck because of ALL THE THINGS my body had gone though. It was and totally still is worth it 💯!
.
My luxury, non-toxic hair products. My hair went CRAZY after C was born. From hair loss and changing texture, to frizz and breakage. I put my hair in a pony tail 90% of the time because I had no clue how to handle it and I felt so gross because of it. But this shampoo stuff has been changing my life... and I want all the mamas to know about it too.
.
What are your best momming tips for all things baby, body, hair, and SANITY during pregnancy + babies first year???
.
Ps. You can grab this shampoo + conditioner for yourself at a crazy discount today only! Jump on board already! 🚂
What really lights you up?
-
For me, painting holds a special place in my heart.
• Mixing colors to get that perfect hue...
• A blank canvas that can become anything... • Taking the vision from my mind and making it a reality...
• A silent room and a creative space... -
So what's your thing?
-
And more importantly, when's the last time you made time for it?
-
Here's the thing... we allow our time and mind to be filled with SO MUCH negative. We dwell on conversions... think about how we could have done things different... worry about the future...
-
But how often do we stop to say "enough is enough"...? How often do we set boundaries to those negative thoughts so we CAN make space for the things we love?
.
Easier said than done, I know... but it starts with today.
.
What negative things are within your control? What negative things can you set boundaries to? And what do you need to begin doing instead?
-
Let's make time for just ONE thing that lights us up today. Mmkkk???

This week has been hard. I've been surrounded by sadness, pain, and heartache... and as humans, it can just become really overwhelming sometimes.
.
The rest of the week ahead is big. It feels heavy. Heavy decisions. Heavy events. Heavy hearts. But the thing is... we can still choose joy.
.
I can still choose gratitude for what I do have.
.
I can still choose to fix my mind on things above.
.
I can still choose what negativity I will let into my life and what I will be intentionally unavailable for. These boundaries are good.
.
So friends, as my day today will be focused on regaining a positive mindset + fixing my mind on things above... I just wanted to encourage you to choose joy with me.
.
Who's in?
Biggest goals... ❤

Do you feel the push and pull?
Between self and spirit.
Pride and humility.
Reaction and intention.
Guilt and freedom.
Love and anger.
.
Between doing good and the good that's already been done.
.
While the Christian life is one full of peace, it is also one of constant warfare.
((A push and pull))
.
Constant struggle with the law. The constant checkboxes of being good enough.
.
Strong enough. Brave enough. Dedicated enough. Consistent enough.
.
ENOUGH.
.
But we never will be on our own.
((A push and pull))
.
And our inevitable human-ness haunts us. Keeps us up at night. Leaves us climbing an uphill battle alone. Striving to do more. Prove more. Be more.
.
I'm going to get real with you for a sec...
.
I recently had a moment where I asked God why he made me so mediocre at so many things when all I wanted was that one awesome thing that made me special...
.
And He immediately answered...
.
Your thing is found in me.
Your special thing is rooted in who I am.
It's who I made you.
Who I am making you to be.
.
Average people stepping out in faith is where it's at. Doing scary things.
.
Mediocre people being empowered to take big, bold steps. Making more of Him.
.
So, friend, I'll be ok with being average.
I'll be ok with mediocre.
.
I'll be ok with giving up the constant struggle to be more, and allow Him to be the more I already am.
.
The more He has already given me free reign to live and act in.
.
So how about we put down our struggle for perfection together.
.
Let's stop to rest in the perfect sacrifice He's already given. Let's stop to realize that we will NEVER be enough on our own.
.
Let's stop the uphill struggle of finding our worth in the good we do and accept the good that's already been done for us.
